Description
Major insurer based in Essex need an individual to join their lively motor claims division.
Working on a 12 month contract the role involves dealing with claims involving basic injuries. Your responsibilities will include liaising with the policyholder and all involved parties, negotiating and settling the claim, making decisions regarding liability, appointing repairers for third party repairs and arranging any relevant investigations required.
Key to the role is a strong customer service ethic, excellent telephone manner and the ability to deal with a wide variety of different people, often in pressured circumstances.
You must have a good understanding of motor insurance and be familiar with insurance practices and procedures. Good AD/TP experience with basic exposure to personal injury claims would be ideal. The role offers an excellent opportunity to further develop your experience in the claims field and has great prospects for developing your career within the industry.
